The 27-year-old Arshad Nadeem from Mian Chunno had unmeasurable government and civil society support and unimaginable financial constraints at home. However, he dusted off every excuse and made the odds even with his perseverance.

The tough rival from the neighbors, the defending Gold champion of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 threw the Javelin at an 89.45m distance.

Turkish Shooter’s Viral Offhand Style in Olympics 

One such example is the 51-year-old Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikeç whose offhand and collected posture during the 10-metre air pistol event was one of the most thrilling moments of the Olympics 2024. He won a silver medal and millions of hearts with one hand in the pocket, lensless eyes on target, and holding a gun like a movie hero.

Brazilian Surfer Gabriel Medina’s Once-in-a-lifetime Photo 

The internet was flooded by another iconic photo of the 3-times world champion Gabriel Medina from the Olympics 2024, captured by French photographer Jerome Brouillet who was waiting for a perfect wave kick-off with his camera ready. When the Brazilian surfer popped off one of the tallest waves, Brouillet took four photographs, one of which captured Medina and his board suspended in mid-air. 

The French surfer Kauli Vaast with a 17.67 score won Gold in the Surfing game. However, Medina’s shot immediately spread out on social media accompanied by a flood of messages praising the thrill in the photograph. He posted the pictures on his Instagram and has already received more than 4m likes. 

Kenyan Wanyonyi’s Unbelievable Victory by 100th of A Second 

One of the unbelievable moments from Paris 2024 happened when a Kenyan racer won the race by just a 100th of a second. Emmanuel Wanyonyi won Gold in the 800-meter race by finishing the race in 1:41:19 hours followed by Marco Arop from Canada who stepped on the line at 1:41:20th hour. It was such a close match that initially it seemed hard to guess the winner. The 20-year-old Wanyonyi is the third fastest man in the 800m race and a prominent figure in the sports industry. 

Paris 2024 Will Always Be Special For Pakistan!

The 33rd, two-week international sports event started on July 26 and ended on Aug 12 in Paris. 80 countries participated in the Olympic Games 2024 in Stade de France. The countries that bagged the maximum number of medals of different colors include the USA, China, Japan, and Australia.

A glance at Pakistan’s Olympic history tells us that Pakistan has 11 medals in its count including 4 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze. The exceptional hockey team proudly won three gold medals during the 1960, 1968, & 1984 Olympic Games. However, the Olympics 2024 will always be the most special for Pakistan due to the first-ever Gold medal clinched to home by the Javelin legend Arshad Nadeem.
